Baby oil on the floor = Bad situation

Hi everyone, 

Today I am writing to tell you about a funny story that happened in our Broadmead salon, about a year ago. The beauty therapist had just done a big wax job on a client and managed to drop it all over the floor. Once the client had left she asked me to help her clean it up. When I first went into the room I thought it would be quite easy to get up, as it hadn't completely dried. Our first mistakes was trying to wipe it up with kitchen roll. Of course it just ripped and stuck to the floor, making an even bigger mess. The next thing we tried to do, was to get some waxing spatulas and scrape the wax up. This worked to an extent but we still had quite a bit on the floor which we couldn't get up. So finally we decide to pour equipment cleaner and baby oil on the floor. This brought the wax up perfectly. We wiped around the area and carefully left the room. We went back down stairs and carried on with our day. About an hour later we heard a massive bang come from upstairs. It sounded so loud that we thought that a stand had fallen down or something. We went rushing upstairs and found the manager crawling around the beauty room, trying to get up. Every time she attempted to stand, her legs slid apart and she fell back down again. Eventually the only thing she could do to get out of the room was slowly crawl to the door. I found this absolutely hysterical. She couldn't understand why she kept falling over and why it was so slippery upstairs. At this point we had to confess that we were being a little bit stupid, and had poured baby oil all over the floor. She didn't seem amused. Our poor manager looked like Bambi on ice!!
