Our new ventures

Hi everyone, I haven't got any funny stories today, but I thought I would write to tell all of you what has been happening in the salon. Today in our Broadmead salon, we reorganised our training room into a beautiful and very tidy colouring room. We will be doing all chemical treatments in our upstairs room which has a TV set up, playing classic films such as titanic and dirty dancing for your amusement. We thought this would be a good idea to pass the time whilst you are sat waiting for your colour to develope. As well as sorting out the training room, we have also introduced hot towel wraps which will be included at the back wash. These are particularly good for helping your conditioning treatment to soak into the hair and give you a healthier and shinier result. It was unusually quiet in the salon today, so i did some training with my colleagues on free hand balayage highlights and baby lights. Both of these highlighting techniques are very natural and beautiful (Pictures will come shortly). We have confirmed the date for our next colour theory and mixing training, we will be learning new pastel colour techniques, looking at vibrant reds and highlift tints. Today we had a group discussions and we have decided to make some YouTube tutorial videos for all of our clients or fellow hairdressers and these will be coming shortly. We have also discussed doing a home styling session once a month for all of our customers to teach them how to recreate their look at home. These will be completely free for everyone, we just want to make sure we are making your life as easy as possible! Finally we are going to look at a new salon on Thursday, so if all goes well we may have a new one.

So that's all I really have for you all today, but I will keep you all updated on our latest ventures and we will be continuously adding our work and stories to this blog.
