Ecaille

Ecaille is new hair trend which resembles the look of a tortoise shell. This Technique gives a dynamic, Multi- tonal effect. Rich tones are paired with balayage highlights to create dimension throughout the hair. The most popular tone to use with the balayage highlights is honey, golden and amber. Continuously change from light to dark in a even blend, to avoid looking like a ombre effect. This technique is currently trending in Paris and have been recently seen on celebrities such as Jessica Alba and Khloe Kardashian. I personally think this is a beautiful look and can not wait to recreate it.
Babylights

Babylights are very subtle, sun kissed highlights which do not have any uniformity. The purpose of this technique is to reproduce a look that you would naturally gain from being out in the sun or what you would see on child. To Create this look, very fine sections of hair are taken, weaved and highlighted. A very fine section of hair is then left in between the highlights to blend into the base colour. This highlighting technique is very low maintenance for clients, as they are very fine and blend beautifully into the hair. This Trend is my absolute favourite as it is so natural and I have found that all of my clients have loved it!
Soft Reds and ice blondes

Again we have a very natural and soft hair colour trend. Soft reds are a perfect way to add colour into your life but still give a touch of class. The aim of this trend is to produce a red which you would find on natural red heads. It is very pretty and feminine and compliments most skin tones. This colour can be high maintenance dependant on hair condition.
I have personally tried an ice blonde tone on my own hair and I loved it. The look can be achieved through a white or silver tone. I chose to achieve a silver finish and found the colour made my skin appear warmer and brighter. I also found that the colour gave my hair a very healthy and glossy finish. To achieve this look you will need a very light base colour and must be willing to maintain the colour through top ups.
