Top tips for a faster blow out...
1. My number one top tip for a faster blow out is... Do not try and blow dry the hair when it is sopping wet. This will take foreverrrr! To speed me up, I remove approximately 80-90% of the moisture through blast drying before actually blow drying the hair.
2. Keep all of your equipment close. Also try to not keep putting things down. I like to clip my sectioning clips onto myself so that I can easily find them. I also keep hold of my brushes whilst I take down the next section. You will be surprised how much time you waste searching for things.
3. Keep your hairdryer going. Carefully hold your hairdryer under your arm, whilst you section the next piece. CAUTION: The hairdryer gets very hot, so be careful not to burn yourself or your clothes. If you are worried about doing this technique, then keep your dryer on whilst it is safely placed in the dryer holder.
4. Use crocodile clips to section the hair instead of combs. This will save time looking for combs and alternating equipment.
5.Take Sub-sections as wide as your brush when drying the hair. Small sections mean more drying time. NOTE: Too big a section will also slow you down as it will take forever to dry.
6. Don't over complicate your sectioning. Keep everything tidy, but don't be obsessed with perfection.
7. Use a blow dry spray. Most blow dry sprays have ingredients added to help cut the time of the blow out.
8. Use quality equipment, low quality equipment can slow you down. For example; the handle of your brushes may not have any grip, and you may struggle to get tension. My favourite hair dryer to use is GHD Air and my favourite brushes are by Moroccon Oil.
